Suspect Vehicle Seized/Driver Arrested
Detectives have identified, located and seized the suspect vehicle believed to be involved in what has been determined to be a case of road rage. The driver of that vehicle Gloria Alfreda McMillan, 32, of 7238 John Paul Drive in Alexandria, has been arrested and charged with felony hit and run. The suspect vehicle is a black, 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer and was located in southwest Washington, D.C.
Detectives would like to thank the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C., as well as the public, for their tremendous assistance in this investigation.

UPDATE
The victim in yesterday’s incident has been identified as Shelinda Delores Arrington, 21, of the 3300 block of Lockheed Boulevard. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has ruled that the cause of Arrington’s death was a crush injury. The manner of death was determined to be that the victim was run over by a motor vehicle.
Detectives would like the public to be on the lookout for a dark colored SUV with unknown, temporary tags. The vehicle may or may not be a Chevrolet. Police want to expand the list of potential suspect vehicles rather than limiting them to a particular make and model.
When the SUV and its driver are identified, detectives may then learn what, if any relationship existed between the victim and the driver prior to this incident.

Police Investigate Death in Mount Vernon Area
Mount Vernon Police District – Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 21-year-old Fairfax County woman who was found unconscious on Harrison Lane. Police responded to a report of a woman lying in the roadway on Friday, May 4 around 11:30 a.m.
Preliminarily, the investigation shows that the woman had been driving, stopped and exited her vehicle and had a discussion with another driver in traffic. There appeared to be some sort of altercation between the drivers. Police are not clear on whether the two knew each other or what the nature of the disagreement may have been. They are also investigating the precise nature of the victim’s injuries and what may have caused them. Police are seeking the public’s help in locating the driver of the other vehicle. It was described as a black Chevrolet SUV with temporary tags
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death, however preliminarily; it appears the victim suffered from a traumatic injury to the upper body.
