Police Arrest Alleged Serial Burglar


            Fair Oaks Police District – Detectives arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with more than a dozen burglaries of dry cleaners, nail salons, spas and other small commercial businesses around Fairfax City and County in the past few weeks.

            Detectives worked jointly with Fairfax City Police and charged Dennis Elliot, of no fixed address, with burglary on Thursday, May 23, 2013.  He was also charged with an outstanding probation violation. Three Fairfax City businesses were burglarized during the overnight hours of May 21 and six others took place between Sunday, May 19 and Monday, May 20 in the 2900 block of Chain Bridge Road in the Oakton area.
