Taxi Driver Robbed


            Mason Police District – Police responded to a report of a robbery on Monday, June 24 at around 3:45 a.m. in the 6300 block of Wingate Street.

            The victim parked his vehicle, and was opening the trunk when he was approached from behind. A man produced a weapon and demanded his belongings. The suspect grabbed the items and fled. There were no injuries.

            The suspect was described as male, black, and around 5 feet 10 inches tall and 175 pounds. The investigation revealed that the suspect may have been driving a light blue DC Cab with a silver stripe painted on both sides.
