Attack on Jogger in Hayfield Area


Franconia Police District – On Saturday, June 28, around 10 pm, a woman was jogging along Hayfield Road approaching Old Telegraph Road when she was grabbed from behind by an unknown man. The victim utilized protective mace and was able to fight off the suspect. The victim and suspect both fled on foot in different directions. The victim returned home and summoned police.

 The suspect was described as wearing a dark long sleeve shirt and cream colored pants.
