Smash and Grab in Tysons Corner Area

McLean Police District – Police responded to a robbery in the 7900 block of Tysons Corner Center that occurred Tuesday, July 2. Around 4:11 p.m. five men entered a local jewelry store, smashed several display cases and took an undisclosed amount of jewelry. The suspects then fled on foot. There were no injuries.

Responding officers located one of the suspects and took him into immediate custody. Brandon Bowditch, 22, of Hamtramck, Michigan, was charged with robbery.

The other suspects were described as black males, one wearing a bright red hoodie, another wearing a black and white striped hoodie and the others were observed wearing black hoodies.
