Police Pursuit Results in Drug Arrest

Reston Police District – On Wednesday, July 3, around 10:30 a.m. a police officer attempted a traffic stop on a gray Toyota on Leesburg Pike. The driver of the Toyota initially stopped on an exit ramp but fled after a brief verbal exchange with the officer. A second officer was able to stop the Toyota at Hunter Mill Road and Baron Cameron Avenue and took the driver into custody.

Dwight Lamar Hayman, 32, of Glendale, Maryland was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and reckless driving.
