Fairfax County Crime Solvers is a non-profit 501c3 organization that provides an anonymous phone tip line as well as texting and email capabilities to the public to report criminal information. Tipsters’ identities are protected under state law. This program is not run by the police department. It is run by business leaders and residents who seek to make Fairfax County a safe place to live and visit. They pay cash rewards of $100 to $1,000 to anonymous tipsters when their information leads to an arrest and indictment. They pay these cash rewards with money raised through fundraisers such as this 5K and they rely on your support!
