Swim Teacher Charged

 

            Police received a complaint on July 3 from a mother of a 7-year-old girl that her daughter had been inappropriately touched on several occasions.

            Detectives began an investigation and charged the suspect on Monday, July 15, 2013 with two counts of aggravated sexual battery.

            Eduardo Requejo, 23, of Warwick Drive, Fairfax turned himself in to police at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.  

            Requejo worked as a swimming instructor at the Oak Marr Recreation Center in Fairfax since 2005.  He has also worked as a swim coach throughout the Fairfax community.

            The alleged incidents did not happen at his worksite; the victim was an acquaintance and not one of his pupils.
