Bank Robbery in McLean

            McLean Police District Police responded to the report of a robberyat the Cardinal Bank at 1313 Dolley Madison Boulevard on Thursday, July 25 shortly after 9:30.a.m.     

            A man entered the bank, approached two female tellers; one 41, the other 61, announced a robbery and demanded money. The tellers handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and were not injured. The suspect fled the bank and was last seen headed west on Dolley Madison Boulevard.

            The suspect was described as black, 30 to 40 years old, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with a slender build. He was wearing dark clothing.

            The police helicopter and a K9 team responded to assist in the search for the suspect.
