Suspect Arrested in Bomb Threat

            Fair Oaks Police District –Police responded to the Fairfax County Courthouse on Wednesday, July 24 shortly before 7:30 a.m. for a reported bomb threat. Officers, detectives and deputies quickly developed information that led to the identification and arrest of 72-year-old Joe Edwin Honesty of 405 Clifford Avenue in Alexandria. Honesty was located inside the courthouse; there on an unrelated matter, he was apprehended and escorted next door to the Fairfax County Adult detention Center. He was charged with

            making a bomb threat and held on no bond. Authorities do not believe that an explosive device ever existed in this case.
