Multi-Lingual Financial Crimes Forum October 10
Learn How to Prevent Being Victimized

Mason Police District – Financial Crimes Detectives will present the most recent scams and offer information on how to prevent becoming a victim in a public safety forum to be held Thursday, October 10 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Annandale High School.

The Police Department investigates over 4,000 financial crimes a year locally, and they are among the fastest-growing crimes in the nation. Learn strategies on how to protect your resources, assets and identity. Financial crimes are devastating to victims and can ruin lives; education on these complex matters is critical.

The program will also feature information on other public safety topics such as local pedestrian safety issues.

Residents are encouraged to attend this important multi-lingual information forum. Presentations will have simultaneous language interpretation. The event is sponsored by the Annandale Roundtable, Korean American Association of Virginia, Legal Aid Justice Center, Virginia Coalition of Latino Organizations, in partnership with the Police Department.
