Bank Robbery in Herndon Area

Fair Oaks Police District – On Sunday, December 15, shortly before 3 p.m., a man approached a teller at the PNC Bank located inside the Giant grocery store located at 13330 Franklin Farm Road. The man made a vague threat and demanded money. An undisclosed amount of cash was handed over and the suspect fled; there were no injuries.

The suspect was described as white, 35 to 45 years old, 5 feet 5 to 5 feet 7 inches tall, 160 to 180 pounds, with brown hair. He was wearing a dark jacket, a gray hat, sunglasses and gloves.
