Bank Robbery in Hayfield Area

Franconia Police District – On Friday, December 20, at 10:30 a.m., two men entered the BB&T Bank at 7716 Telegraph Road and ordered the employees to lie on the ground. Both men were armed with handguns and one man demanded cash from a teller. An undisclosed amount of cash was handed over and the suspects fled. There were no injuries.

One suspect was described as Hispanic in his 20s or 30s and approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 pounds. The second suspect was described as black, in his 20s or 30s and approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and 180 pounds. Both suspects were wearing gray jackets and masks over their faces.
