Crime Solvers
Seeks Help Locating Serial Bank Robber
National Capital Area Crime Solvers
and Metro Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying
and locating the man wanted for at least six bank robberies in the region
throughout the past year. The same
suspect is believed to be responsible for the following bank robberies:

The Provident Bank, located inside the Shopper’s
Food Warehouse at 14000 Shopper’s Best Way on December 5, 2005 in Prince
William County, VA.
Ø
The Provident Bank, located inside the Shopper’s
Food Warehouse at 11120 Reisterstown Road on April 8, 2006 in Baltimore County,
MD.
Ø
The Chevy Chase Bank, located inside the Giant
Food at 6426 Springfield Plaza on May 20, 2006 in Fairfax County, VA.
Ø
The Provident Bank, located inside the Shopper’s
Food Warehouse at 1170 Smallwood Drive West on June 5, 2006 in Charles County,
MD.
Ø
The Chevy Chase Bank, located inside the Giant
Food at 5740 Union Mill Road on July 8, 2006 in Fairfax County, VA.
Ø
The Provident Bank, located inside the Shopper’s
Food Warehouse at 5457 Baltimore National Pike on August 26, 2006 in Baltimore
County, MD.
In
each of these robberies the suspect passed a note to the bank employee
demanding money. In several of the
robberies he wore a hat and glasses. The
suspect is described as a Black man, 30 to 40-years-old. He is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs
150 to 160 pounds.

the suspect in each of the robberies.
Detectives are hoping that someone will recognize the suspect in those
photos.
Anyone with information on the
identity or location of this suspect is asked to call the appropriate
jurisdiction through the National Capital Area Crime Solvers tip line at

Each jurisdiction will pay a cash
reward of $100 to $1,000 for information which leads to an arrest and
indictment in their case. Metro Crime
Stoppers will pay a cash reward of $100 to $2,000 for information which leads
to an arrest and indictment.
