Robbery at Lorton Hotel

            On Monday, November 19 around 1 a.m., a 33-year-old Lorton man was robbed while working as a clerk at the Comfort Inn at 8180 Silverbrook Road. A man entered the hotel and asked about rates. When the clerk looked up, the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim complied and was ordered to the floor. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no injuries.

            The suspect was described as white, in his early 30s. He was about 6 feet tall with a medium build. He had red hair, a beard and a mustache. He wore a heavy, black coat and black, winter cap.
