Employee of Check Cashing Store Robbed by Masked Gunman

 

            A 36-year-old employee of Checks Cashed, located at 4707 North Chambliss Street, was robbed on Wednesday, November 28 shortly after 9 a.m. The suspect approached the Alexandria-area woman, pointed a gun at her and demanded that she allow him access to the secure area within the store. As the victim opened the secure door, the suspect struck her, knocking her to the floor. The suspect then took an undisclosed amount of money and fled. The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

            The suspect was described as black, between 25 and 30 years old. He was about 6 feet tall and weighed approximately 230 pounds. He was wearing all black clothing, including the mask.
