Police Asking for Help Identifying
Bank Robbery Suspect
Fairfax County Police have released a new photograph of the suspect involved in the United Bank robbery on November 14. Anyone who can identify this person or has any information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS/8477 or Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131.
Bank Robbery in McLean
An employee of the United Bank, located at 1320 Chain Bridge Road, was robbed on Wednesday, November 14 shortly after 10 a.m. A man entered the bank, approached a teller, a 22-year-old Arlington man, handed him a note demanding money and implying a weapon. The victim handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and was not injured.
The suspect, described as white, or Middle Eastern, fled on foot. He was about 20 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 145 pounds. He was wearing a white ball cap, a gray fleece jacket and dark pants.
