Pedestrian Dies a Week Later

            A 67-year-old woman died on Saturday, December 1 after being struck by a vehicle on Monday, November 26 around 4:40 a.m. Soncha Han, of 6354 Chimney Wood Court in Alexandria, was struck by a 1992 Ford Explorer, driven by a 34-year-old Alexandria-area man. The sport utility vehicle was going east on North Kings Highway just prior to Richmond Highway when it hit Han, who was standing in the left lane. She was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital. Speed and alcohol were not factors in the accident.

            The investigation continues.
