Traffic Safety Campaign along the Route 28 Corridor

Officers assigned to the Fairfax County Police Sully District Station are conducting a traffic safety campaign to increase public awareness of traffic safety and to reduce motor vehicle crashes. In response to community concerns about traffic and road safety, the Sully District Station has deployed officers along the Route 28 corridor.

The campaign started on November 1, and will continue through the end of the month. Officers are working during daytime and evening hours. Examples of traffic violations the officers are looking for include speeding, reckless driving, red light violations and aggressive driving. The focal point of this campaign is the Route 28 corridor, but other areas of the Sully District are also being targeted for enforcement.

For more information on the campaign, contact Captain C. McAlister, Station Commander for Sully District, at 703-814-7000.
