DWI Directed Patrol Results in Fair Oaks Police District

 

            Fairfax County police officers from around the county conducted DWI directed patrols to deter and apprehend intoxicated drivers on Friday, December 14, from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m. Saturday. Motorists stopped for suspicion of driving while intoxicated were checked to assure that their abilities to drive had not been impaired by alcohol or drugs. Approximately 20 motorists were stopped. One arrest was made for DWI. One charge was placed for possession of marijuana. 11 additional traffic summonses were issued. Eight officers and one auxiliary police officer participated in the directed patrol.
