Crime Solvers Seeks Murder Suspect

            Fairfax County Crime Solvers is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Jhonatan Montolla, 20, of 2321 Fort Drive, in the Huntington area. Montolla is wanted for the murder of Miguel Angel Herrera Maldonado. Around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 15, police were called to the Fort Drive home to check on an injured man. Officers located Maldonado, 24, dead inside the home.

            An investigation determined that Maldonado was stabbed during an altercation with Montolla. He died as a result of stab wounds to his upper body.

            Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Montolla is asked to call Fairfax County Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS/8477 or e-mail their tip via the website at www.fairfaxcrimesolvers.org. A $1,000 cash reward will be paid for information that leads to an arrest. As always, callers never have to give their names or appear in court.
