Woman Assaulted in Centreville Area

            Police responded to a report of an assault in the Centreville area on Wednesday, December 19 around 5:30 p.m. An 18-year-old woman was jogging on Union Mill Road near Compton Road when a man stopped her for directions. She obliged and then continued jogging. The man grabbed her arm, made offensive comments and fondled himself. The victim confronted the suspect and he ran away. She was not injured.

            The suspect was described as white, about 30 years old. He was about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighed approximately 150 pounds. He wore a white sweat shirt, gray sweat pants and a white hat.
