Woman Robbed at Gunpoint in Baileys Crossroads

 

            A 41-year-old Alexandria-area woman was robbed at gunpoint on Friday, December 21 shortly after 7 p.m. She was leaving her place of business at 5639 Columbia Pike, when a man approached her from behind and demanded her purse. The victim struggled until the suspect pointed a handgun at her. She relinquished her purse and the suspect pushed her to the ground then fled. The victim was not injured.

            The suspect was described as Hispanic, 18 to 20 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds. He wore a black ski mask, dark pants and a light-colored jacket.
