Gas Station Burglarized; Suspect Arrested

            Police arrested a 25-year-old Fairfax man suspected of breaking into Dan’s Merrifield Sunoco gas station on Sunday, December 30. An alarm sounded at the gas station at 8030 Lee Highway around 1:22 a.m. and the front glass door was broken. Entry was gained; however, it does not appear anything was taken.

            Several hours later, officers located a man at Lee Highway and Gallows Road resembling the suspect on surveillance video. He was identified as Jose Ramos, of 9200 Barrick Street #202, and arrested. Ramos was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with burglary, attempted larceny, destruction of property and two counts of possession of fraudulent identification.
