Fairfax County Police Department Franconia Detectives Investigate BurglariesDetectives in the Alexandria section of the Franconia District are investigating a series of residential burglaries and attempted burglaries that have taken place between January 30 and February 13, 2012 during daytime hours. The incidents have occurred in the following areas:
In some of these cases, witnesses reported seeing 3 individuals walking in back yards wearing dark clothing and carrying backpacks. The burglars have stolen jewelry, electronics, and money from the homes. Detectives are continuing their investigation. Police ask that you remain vigilant and call Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131 if you see any suspicious people, solicitors or vehicles.
