Keep Your Tools

Thieves are looking for tools. Power, plumbing, drywall, any tool will do. Make sure they are not taking yours! Franconia officers were visiting service companies in the area and explaining how to keep their tools from being stolen. Please follow the tips below:

Lock your vehicles. Not only should they be secured, but do not leave tools and other valuables in view.
Bring expensive items into the house or business overnight.
Write down the serial numbers for all of your tools, and keep the list someplace safe. Remember, companies can make thousands of the same item, so if we stop someone with your drill, we need a way to know it belongs to you!
Add your own personal markings on your tools.

Call in suspicious activity! Do not hesitate to let us know if you think someone may be casing a work vehicle or shed in your area. We want to hear from you!
