Fairfax County Police Department Pharmacies Robbed in Franconia and Mount Vernon
On Saturday, April 28 around 2 p.m., a man walked into the Rite Aide Pharmacy located at 7968 Fort Hunt Road and handed the pharmacist a note demanding narcotics. The suspect implied that he had a weapon. The pharmacist handed over an undisclosed quantity of prescription medication. The suspect fled. He was described as white, around 20 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and approximately 145 pounds. Shortly after 3:30 p.m. the same day, possibly the same man walked into a Rite Aide Pharmacy located at 7764 Gunston Plaza. Again the suspect handed the pharmacist a note demanding narcotics.
