INOVA Franconia-Springfield Healthplex to Host

Car Seat Inspection

On Sunday June 17, a Car Seat Safety Inspection will be held at the Inova Franconia-Springfield Healthplex from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The Healthplex is located at 6355 Walker Lane, Alexandria, Virginia 22310, which is near the intersection of the Franconia-Springfield Parkway and Beulah Street in the Franconia District.

Since the safety of children is a huge priority for both Fairfax County Police and INOVA, partnering for this event was an easy decision.  According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), 3 out of 4 car seats are installed improperly.  Please come out and have your child’s car seat inspected by a Fairfax County Police Department Certified Car Seat Inspector!  If you have any questions about this event please email susan.yu@inova.org

If you are unable to attend this event, but would like to have your child’s seat inspected, click here for the list of dates and times inspections are held at the Franconia District Police Station.
