Fax 703-719-6436 www.fairfaxcounty.gov/police/stations/franconia Date Released 05/30/12 Contact: Brooke Wright / 703-922-0889 Information Bulletin: Walk & Talk Visit to Springfield Crossing               Officers, along with Captain Shawn Bennett, Commander, of the Franconia District Station walked through the Springfield Crossing Apartments on Thursday, May 24.  Residents were there to meet them and discuss safety and quality of life issues.  Officers distributed cards with crime prevention tips, emergency and non-emergency phone numbers for police, and information about our website.                                                           Residents were reminded to always call in suspicious activity.  Many children were happy to say hello and receive reflective bracelets to increase their safety when playing outdoors.                     ###   To request this information in an alternate format, call the Franconia District Station at 703.922.0889.  TTY 711
