Fairfax County Police Department Autumn Chase Walk & Talk
Police Officers, Auxiliary Officers, and Detectives of the Franconia District Station, as well as staff members from Supervisor McKay’s office, walked through the Autumn Chase Community yesterday evening. Every home was visited and cards were given to all residents. The cards contain emergency and non-emergency phone numbers for the Fairfax County Police Department, as well as the Franconia District website address, and useful reminders for safety and security of property. We also asked that citizens check the website regularly for new information such as weekly crime summaries, information about upcoming car seat inspections, and current cases officers in the Franconia District are working. Residents were reminded to always call in suspicious activity. Many children greeted us, and were deputized as junior police officers with reflective stickers. ### To request this information in an alternate format, call the Franconia District Station at 703.922.0889.
