Franconia District officers responded to a commercial burglary in progress Sunday night in the 9900 block of Richmond Highway. Upon arrival, officers found Anthony Kemp of Washington, D.C. and Irvin Reynolds of Capitol Heights, Maryland attempting to flee on foot. After the officer’s commands to stop were ignored, police K9 Comak gave chase with the police helicopter assisting and both suspects were quickly apprehended.

Investigation continues in reference to their involvement in other cases along the Richmond Highway corridor. Thanks to Comak, MPO Riccio, the helicopter unit, and Franconia midnight officers, this case was closed quickly!
