That means everyone needs to slow down in the school zones and make sure they are operating their vehicles in a safe manner. Officers will be looking out for the safety of our youth, who are sometimes still half asleep, as they make it to school.             Please, slow down in school zones. Be observant of slowing and stopped buses, and the children in their vicinity. Do not pass a stopped school bus. Make sure that you and your children are properly secured in a seat belt or car safety seat. Violators will be ticketed; your money is better spent on school supplies.
