Franconia Station Parking Enforcement
She travels the area writing tickets for various violations to include expired vehicle registrations and/or inspections. She also checks for Fire Lane violations and follows up on citizen complaints about possible parking violations. She is Traffic Enforcement Officer Nevien Tadross.
TEO Tadross is one of 18 Traffic Enforcement Officers on the department. There is one at each district station and 10 which work countywide and are coordinated through the department’s Traffic Division. Their primary mission is “To enforce various traffic laws specifically related to parking violations within Fairfax County”.
Traffic Enforcement Officers also provide operational support to the Department as needed. This means that TEO Tadross assists by replacing a sick Crossing Guard or with traffic control at the scene of an accident.
TEO Tadross began her career in the Mount Vernon Police District as a Crossing Guard in 1996. She transferred to the Franconia Police District in 1999, where she lives and raised her children. In 2000 she became a TEO.
