CRIME SUMMARY

September 18-24, 2011

Destruction of Private Property, 5600 Block of BISMACH DR, 9/18/11. An individual had been pushed into a broken window.

Robbery, 5600 Block of HARRINGTON FALLS LN, 9/18/11. An individual reported that he had been robbed and beaten by three individuals.

Tampering, 4600 Block of RANDOLPH DR, 9/18/11. An individual’s front tire had been slashed.

Fraud, 7400 Block of AXTON ST, 9/19/11. An individual has been contacted numerous times by a collection agent, who has his identifying information, although the individual’s financials are in order.

Drunk in Public, 7100 Block of LEESVILLE BLVD, 9/23/11. An intoxicated individual was found lying on the ground.

Larceny, 7000 Block of BEVERLY LN, 9/18/11. An individual stole money from a vehicle.

Burglary, 6000 Block of CRAIG ST, 9/19/11. A home was burglarized and a television was stolen.

Drugs, 6500 Block of BYRON AVE, 9/19/11. An individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Destruction of Private Property, 6900 Block of EDGEBROOK DR, 9/20/11. A puncture hole was found in an individual’s tire.

Larceny, 7200 Block of SUMPTER LN, 9/21/11. An individual reported that her purse had been stolen from her vehicle.

Forgery, BACKLICK RD / CUMBERLAND AVE, 9/22/11. Following a traffic stop, an individual provided false identification.

Larceny, 7000 Block of OLD KEENE MILL RD, 9/22/11. A catalytic converter was cut out of the exhaust of six vehicles.

Burglary, 6100 Block of BACKLICK RD, 9/24/11. A store was burglarized.

Larceny, 6300 Block of SPRINGFIELD PLZ, 9/24/11. An individual exited a store without paying for merchandise.

Larceny, 6100 Block of HIBBLING AVE, 9/24/11. An individual’s credit card was stolen and has been fraudulently charged.

Destruction, 6500 Block of FRANCONIA RD, 9/18/11. Graffiti was painted on three benches at a school.

Destruction, 6500 Block of DEEPFORD ST, 9/18/11. Graffiti was painted on a sign at a park near a school.

Larceny, 6600 Block of SPRINGFIELD MALL, 9/18/11. An individual attempted to exit a store without paying for merchandise.

Larceny, 6400 Block of SPRINGFIELD MALL, 9/19/11. Two individuals exited a store without paying for merchandise.

Destruction, 6300 Block of FRANCONIA COMMONS DR, 9/20/11. A tire was shot with a nail gun.

Larceny, 6700 Block of SPRINGFIELD MALL, 9/20/11. An individual left his wallet at a department store; when he returned, cash was missing.

Larceny, 7800 Block of LOISDALE RD, 9/20/11. Three batteries were stolen from a vehicle.

Burglary, 5700 Block of TELEGRAPH RD, 9/21/11. A suspect burglarized a gas station store and stole several packs of cigarettes.

Drugs, LOISDALE RD / METROPOLITAN CENTER DR, 9/21/11.  An individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Weapons, 6700 Block of FRONTIER DR, 9/21/11. An individual was found to have a concealed weapon.

Drugs, 6700 Block of FRONTIER DR, 9/22/11. An individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Larceny, 6500 Block of SPRINGFIELD MALL, 9/22/11. The rear, passenger-side window of a vehicle was broken out.

Larceny, 6600 Block of SPRINGFIELD MALL, 9/22/11. Two individuals attempted to exit a store without paying for merchandise.

Destruction, 6300 Block of FRANCONIA COMMONS DR, 9/24/11. The rear, passenger-side window of a vehicle was busted out.

Larceny, 6300 Block of DUNMAN WAY, 9/18/11. Vehicle tags were removed from a car.

Destruction, MORNING VIEW LN / ROLLING CREEK WAY, 9/19/11. Several vehicles at this location were spray painted.

Destruction of Private Property, 6600 Block of SCHURTZ ST, 9/19/11. An individual reported that her vehicle’s driver-side door was damaged with what appeared to be a BB gun.

Drunk in Public, JEBIDIA DR / MANCHESTER LAKES DR, 9/19/11. An individual was found to be drunk in public.

Larceny, 5800 Block of KINGSTOWNE BLVD, 9/19/11. An individual exited a store without paying for merchandise.

Larceny, 5800 Block of KINGSTOWNE BLVD, 9/21/11. An individual attempted to exit a store without paying for merchandise.

Larceny, 5700 Block of KINGSTOWNE BLVD, 9/22/11. An individual attempted to exit a store without paying for merchandise.

Larceny, 6000 Block of PALLADIUM CT, 9/23/11. A Playstation 3, controllers, and games were stolen from a vehicle.

Larceny, 6100 Block of CHARLES ARRINGTON DR, 9/23/11. An individual’s wallet was stolen from her purse, which was left in a locked cabinet.

Larceny, 7700 Block of GUNSTON PLZ, 9/18/11. An individual’s cell phone was stolen from an elliptical machine.

Stolen Property, LORTON RD / TIMARAND DR, 9/20/11. The tags on a vehicle came back stolen during a check during a traffic stop.

Burglary, 8900 Block of WHITSELL WAY, 9/23/11. An individual’s home was broken into; a paint sprayer was stolen.

Driving While Intoxicated, 10200 Block of RICHMOND HWY, 9/23/11. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be driving while intoxicated.

Larceny, 9400 Block of LORTON MARKET ST, 9/23/11. An individual attempted to exit a store without paying for merchandise.
