CRIME SUMMARY

February 19-25, 2012

Destruction, 6900 Block of BRADDOCK RD, 2/19/12. Scratches were made on the back of a church pew.

Larceny, 7000 Block of SKYLES WAY, 2/19/12. A spoiler was reported missing from an vehicle.

Larceny, 4300 Block of RAVENSWORTH RD, 2/20/12. Two gym lockers had been broken into and wallets were stolen.

Larceny, 5600 Block of GENERAL WASHINGTON DR, 2/21/12. Three businesses had copper parts stolen from A/C units.

Larceny, 6700 Block of PERRY PENNEY DR, 2/25/12. A car stereo was stolen by breaking the vehicle window.

Burglary, 6200 Block of DONCASTER CT, 2/21/12. A home was burglarized; electronics, jewelry and cash were stolen.

Drugs, 6300 Block of SPRINGFIELD PLZ, 2/22/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Drugs, 6800 Block of SPRINGFIELD BLVD, 2/22/12. Drug paraphernalia was identified in a hotel room.

Larceny, 7000 Block of OLD KEENE MILL RD, 2/23/12. Scrap metal was stolen from an unsecured parking lot.

Burglary, 7500 Block of HAVELOCK ST, 2/24/12. A home was burglarized; electronics were stolen.

Destruction, 5700 Block of BACKLICK RD, 2/24/12. A tire of an SUV had been slashed.

Larceny, 6300 Block of SPRINGFIELD PLZ, 2/24/12.  Attempted shoplifting.

Larceny, 7200 Block of OLD KEENE MILL RD, 2/25/12. Shoplifting.

Auto Theft, 6000 Block of FARRINGTON AVE, 2/19/12. A motorcycle was stolen.

Larceny, FRANCONIA RD / WILTON RD, 2/19/12. An individual failed to pay his taxi fare.

Fraud, 6100 Block of HYACINTH DR, 2/20/12. While attempting to file taxes electronically, an individual learned that someone had already filed taxes using her identity.

Larceny, 6600 Block of SPRINGFIELD MALL, 2/20/12. Three cases of attempted shoplifting.

Drugs, 4100 Block of FRANCONIA RD, 2/21/12. Following a traffic violation, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Larceny, 6600 Block of FRONTIER DR, 2/21/12. Numerous tools were stolen from an unlocked work van.

Destruction, 5900 Block of PRATT ST, 2/22/12. A window in a door was struck by a projectile.

Destruction, 3800 Block of TOWANDA RD, 2/22/12. A vehicle was dented after an acquaintance threw a coffee mug at the car.

Larceny, 6800 Block of FRONTIER DR, 2/22/12. Two cases of license plates being stolen from a vehicle.

Larceny, 6600 Block of SPRINGFIELD MALL, 2/22/12. Attempted shoplifting.

Burglary, 5700 Block of BUSH HILL DR, 2/23/12. A home was burglarized and electronics were stolen.

Destruction, 5800 Block of PRATT CT, 2/23/12. A vehicle was keyed.

Larceny, 6800 Block of FRONTIER DR, 2/23/12. All four tires were stolen from a vehicle.

Destruction, 6100 Block of FRANCONIA STATION LN, 2/24/12. Vehicle was broken into.  CD’s were broken but nothing was stolen.

Larceny, 6800 Block of JEROME ST, 2/24/12. Work van broken into: tools and a GPS were stolen.

Burglary, 7200 Block of CHERWELL LN, 2/19/12. A home was burglarized; cash and electronics were stolen.

Destruction, 7500 Block of TELEGRAPH RD, 2/20/12. Following an argument, an intoxicated individual broke a stereo.

Larceny, 5900 Block of KINGSTOWNE TOWNE CTR, 2/20/12. Shoplifting.

Burglary, 7900 Block of OLD CARRIAGE TRL, 2/21/12. A home was burglarized; alcoholic beverages and electronics were stolen.

Burglary, 7400 Block of COLLINS MEADE WAY, 2/21/12. A home was burglarized; electronics were stolen.

Burglary, 5100 Block of BALLYCASTLE CIR, 2/21/12. A home was burglarized; a laptop was stolen.

Destruction, 7900 Block of OLD CARRIAGE TRL, 2/22/12. Screen to sliding glass door cut.  Home was not entered. 

Destruction, ALFORTH AVE / BEULAH ST, 2/22/12. Following an argument, an individuals damaged each other’s vehicles.

Fraud, 6800 Block of ERICKA AVE, 2/22/12. An individual’s identifying information had been used by someone to obtain employment.

Drugs, 6700 Block of MORNING RIDE CIR, 2/23/12. An individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Larceny, 5200 Block of CHAPEL GATE CT, 2/23/12. An individual’s garbage can had been stolen.

Larceny, 5800 Block of KINGSTOWNE BLVD, 2/24/12. Shoplifting.

Fraud, 5800 Block of KINGSTOWNE BLVD, 2/25/12. An individual learned that someone was making unauthorized transactions from her bank account using a driver’s license in her name.

Destruction, 9500 Block of HAGEL CIR, 2/19/12. An apartment was unlawfully entered by someone with whom the resident had a previous relationship.

Larceny, 9800 Block of GUNSTON RD, 2/19/12. Shoplifting.

Destruction, 9700 Block of ATHEY RD, 2/20/12. Juveniles threw rocks at a home.

Larceny, 9400 Block of LORTON MARKET ST, 2/21/12. A purse had been stolen from an unlocked car.

Burglary, 9000 Block of MARIE CT, 2/22/12. After losing the keys to the residence, it was found to be burglarized; electronics were stolen.

Larceny, 9400 Block of LORTON MARKET ST, 2/23/12. Shoplifting.

Drugs, POHICK RD / RICHMOND HWY, 2/25/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Drugs, FURNACE RD / RICHMOND HWY, 2/25/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.
