CRIME SUMMARY

March 25-31, 2012

Destruction, 5600 Block of HEMING AVE, 3/25/12. A vehicle window was broken.

Destruction, 5100 Block of BEDLINGTON TER, 3/25/12. An “X” was scratched into a vehicle.

Larceny, 5600 Block of HEMING AVE, 3/25/12. Several vehicles were broken into, small electronics were stolen.

Fraud, 7000 Block of BACKLICK CT, 3/26/12. An individual discovered that an unauthorized automatic deduction had been taken from his account for several years.

Fraud, 6900 Block of PACIFIC LN, 3/26/12. An individual reported that fraudulent charges were made against his account.

Drugs, BRADDOCK RD / PHILIP RD, 3/29/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be driving while intoxicated and in possession of a large amount of marijuana and cash.

Larceny, 4700 Block of COLUMBIA RD, 3/29/12. A “No Trespassing” sign and a “Private Property” sign were removed from an individual’s residence.

Weapons, 5200 Block of MONROE DR, 3/30/12. An individual reported that two of his windows had been damaged by some type of projectile; officer located individuals shooting BB guns.

Destruction, 5300 Block of MONTGOMERY ST, 3/25/12. A house was egged and toilet-papered.

Destruction, 6000 Block of HIBBLING AVE, 3/25/12. A four-inch scratch was left on a vehicle.

Drugs, OLD KEENE MILL RD / SPRING RD, 3/29/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be in possession of drugs.

Larceny, 6800 Block of SPRINGFIELD BLVD, 3/31/12. An individual failed to pay a bar tab.

Destruction, 5600 Block of FRANCONIA RD, 3/25/12. An individual reported that a suspect had kicked a dent in his vehicle door.

Larceny, PENNY LN/WILLOWFIELD WAY, 3/25/12. A taxi cab driver reported that a patron had vomited in his taxi and was refusing to pay for the vehicle to be cleaned.

Burglary, 6000 Block of SAGEBRUSH PL, 3/26/12. Two juveniles entered a residence without permission.

Larceny, 5900 Block of FOUNDERS HILL CT, 3/26/12. A vehicle was been broken into and tools were stolen.

Larceny, 6500 Block of FRONTIER DR, 3/26/12. Attempted shoplifting.

Larceny, 6400 Block of SPRINGFIELD MALL, 3/26/12. Attempted shoplifting.

Drugs, I95 NB / SOUTH VAN DORN ST RAMP TO I95, 3/27/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Larceny, 6100 Block of FRANCONIA STATION LN, 3/27/12. Change was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Larceny, 5500 Block of LA VISTA DR, 3/29/12. Jewelry stolen from a home, possibly by service providers.

Larceny, 6600 Block of SPRINGFIELD MALL, 3/30/12. Attempted shoplifting.

Larceny, 6600 Block of SPRINGFIELD MALL, 3/30/12. Two individuals attempted to shoplift.

Larceny, 6400 Block of SPRINGFIELD MALL, 3/30/12. Attempted shoplifting.

Motor Vehicle Theft, 6300 Block of COTTONWOOD DR, 3/30/12. A vehicle was stolen while the owners were out of town.

Embezzlement, 6200 Block of ROSE HILL DR, 3/31/12. An individual failed to return a money order, which had been purchased by another individual to go toward a rental application.  Instead, she kept that money for personal use.

Motor Vehicle Theft, 5600 Block of VINE ST, 3/31/12. Following an attempt to steal a motorcycle, an individual crashed and was seriously injured.

Larceny, 6000 Block of BRADMORE ST, 3/25/12. A vehicle was broken into; tools were stolen.

Larceny, 7500 Block of LAMOYNE CT, 3/25/12. A vehicle was broken into; tools were stolen.

Larceny, 6500 Block of MORNING GLEN CT, 3/26/12. A vehicle was broken into; tools were stolen.

Larceny, HELMSDALE LN / OLD TELEGRAPH RD, 3/27/12. A vehicle was broken into; tools were stolen.

Larceny, 5700 Block of KINGSTOWNE BLVD, 3/27/12. Attempted shoplifting.

Larceny, 5800 Block of KINGSTOWNE CTR, 3/28/12. Purse stolen from unattended shopping cart.

Destruction, 5300 Block of LAROCHELLE DR, 3/29/12. Old graffiti was reported.

Larceny, 7600 Block of TELEGRAPH RD, 3/29/12. Unattended keys were stolen.

Larceny, 5800 Block of FRANCONIA RD, 3/29/12. An unattended iPhone was stolen.

Destruction, 6000 Block of ROCK CLIFF LN, 3/30/12. A door to a residence was damaged; however, entry into the home had not been made.

Weapons, HAYFIELD RD / OLD TELEGRAPH RD, 3/30/12. Juveniles threw a water balloon at a vehicle.

Larceny, 7700 Block of GUNSTON PLZ, 3/25/12. Shoplifting.

Weapon Law Violation, 9800 Block of GUNSTON RD, 3/25/12. An individual was arrested after brandishing a knife at another person in a parking lot.

Drugs, 7700 Block of GUNSTON PLZ, 3/26/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Larceny, 8900 Block of WYNNEFIELD CT, 3/26/12.  All four tires stolen from an SUV.

Larceny, 7700 Block of GUNSTON PLZ, 3/27/12. Two individuals shoplifted.

Motor Vehicle Theft, 9700 Block of HAGEL CIR, 3/27/12. A vehicle was stolen overnight.

Larceny, 10300 Block of BELMONT BLVD, 3/29/12. An individual reported that an acquaintance had stolen prescription medication from the home.

Motor Vehicle Theft, 9600 Block of INVERARY CT, 30/30/12. A vehicle was stolen from a parking spot.
