CRIME SUMMARY

June 10-16, 2012

Larceny, 5400 Block of EASTON DR, 6/10/12. The driver’s side mirror was stolen from a vehicle.

Motor Vehicle Theft, 6300 Block of BERYL RD, 6/10/12. A motorcycle was reported stolen.

Larceny, 5600 Block of HEMING AVE, 6/11/12. Tools were stolen from a work van.

Burglary/Breaking & Entering, 7000 Block of SKYLES WAY, 6/12/12. An individual returned home to find that his home had been burglarized; electronics and jewelry were stolen.

Destruction of Property, 6400 Block of EDSALL RD, 6/13/12. A work van was damaged but not entered.

Destruction of Property, 6300 Block of BREN MAR DR, 6/14/12. A vehicle was left with four flattened tires, four broken door windows, and eight dents.

Larceny, 7000 Block of RHODEN CT, 6/14/12. A work van was broken into and tools were stolen.

Burglary/Breaking & Entering, 7200 Block of LAMAR DR, 6/10/12. An individual returned home to find that her home had been burglarized.  Nothing was stolen.

Larceny, 6300 Block of SPRINGFIELD PLZ, 6/10/12. A bicycle which was locked to a bike rack outside a store was stolen.

Robbery, BACKLICK RD / RHODEN CT, 6/10/12. Following a domestic assault, an individual’s cell phone was stolen.

Drugs, 7200 Block of COMMERCE ST, 6/11/12. An individual was found to be in possession of drugs.

Larceny, 5900 Block of AMHERST AVE, 6/14/12. Tools were stolen from an unlocked work van.

Larceny, 5900 Block of GLOUCESTER AVE, 6/14/12. A bicycle was stolen after being chained to a tree.

Burglary/Breaking & Entering, 6500 Block of HUBBARDTON WAY, 6/15/12. An individual returned home to find that her home had been burglarized; electronics were stolen.

Destruction of Property, 7200 Block of COMMERCE ST, 6/16/12.  An irate customer damaged a door upon her exit.

Drugs, 6500 Block of BYRON AVE, 6/16/12. An individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Larceny, 7100 Block of OLD KEENE MILL RD, 6/16/12. Two pizza delivery vehicles were broken into and cash was stolen.

Larceny, 6700 Block of FRONTIER DR, 6/11/12. Shoplifting.

Counterfeiting/Forgery, 6700 Block of SPRINGFIELD MALL, 6/12/12. An individual attempted to use fraudulent American Express traveler’s checks.

Larceny, 6600 Block of SPRINGFIELD MALL, 6/12/12. Two individuals attempted to shoplift.

Destruction of Property, 6000 Block of HYDRANGEA DR, 6/13/12. An individual returned home to find that fruit had been thrown at his townhome.

Destruction of Property, 6600 Block of DEER GAP CT, 6/14/12. An individual reported that her door and planter were damaged by an acquaintance.

Larceny, 6000 Block of BITTERNUT DR, 6/14/12. A laptop and camera were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Larceny, 6400 Block of SPRINGFIELD MALL, 6/14/12. Two individuals attempted to shoplift.

Larceny, 6500 Block of LOISDALE RD, 6/14/12. Several individuals attempted to shoplift.

Larceny, 6600 Block of STAGECOACH ST, 6/16/12. An individual reported that his iPhone had been stolen from his home during a party.

Larceny, 6700 Block of SPRINGFIELD MALL, 6/16/12. A cell phone was stolen from an unattended purse.

Larceny, 6600 Block of SPRINGFIELD MALL, 6/16/12.  Attempted shoplifting.

Larceny, 5900 Block of KINGSTOWNE TOWNE CTR, 6/10/12. An iPhone left on a table was stolen.

Larceny, 5900 Block of KINGSTOWNE TOWNE CTR, 6/10/12.  A motorcycle helmet was stolen from a moped.

Drugs, APPLEMINT LN / CILANTRO DR, 6/11/12. An individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Larceny, 5800 Block of KINGSTOWNE BLVD, 6/11/12. Attempted shoplifting.

Destruction of Property, 6900 Block of BANCHORY CT, 6/12/12. The rear window of a vehicle was broken out and an attempt had been made to remove a factory-installed stereo system.

Larceny, 5900 Block of CLAMES DR, 6/12/12. A roofing nail and a screw were driven into the passenger tire of a vehicle.

Destruction of Property, 6100 Block of ROSE HILL DR, 6/13/12. A shopping cart was intentionally pushed into a vehicle.

Fraud, 5900 Block of KINGSTOWNE TOWNE CTR, 6/13/12.  An individual attempted to withdraw money from a bank using fraudulent identification.

Larceny, 7100 Block of MANCHESTER BLVD, 6/13/12. A vehicle was entered and a radio, iPad, and GPS were stolen.

Larceny, 6900 Block of CROMARTY DR, 6/13/12. Cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Destruction of Property, 5400 Block of BROADMOOR ST, 6/14/12. A wood bench in a backyard was damaged.

Destruction, 6700 Block of TELEGRAPH RD, 6/14/12. Graffiti was left on the 17th green of a golf course.

Weapon Law Violation, 7200 Block of HILLARY ST, 6/14/12. An individual was found to be in possession of brass knuckles and marijuana.

Burglary/Breaking & Entering, 5900 Block of MANORVIEW WAY, 6/15/12. An individual returned home to find that her home had been burglarized; jewelry, accessories, and electronics were stolen.

Larceny, 6100 Block of ROSE HILL DR, 6/15/12. An iPad was stolen from a vehicle.

Larceny, 6600 Block of TELEGRAPH RD, 6/16/12. A cell phone was stolen from a lifeguard stand.

Arson, 7400 Block of BELMONT LANDING RD, 6/10/12.  A mailbox was set on fire.

Arson, 7500 Block of BELMONT LANDING RD, 6/10/12. A mailbox was set on fire.

Destruction of Property, 7800 Block of STOVALL CT, 6/13/12. A vehicle tire was slashed.

Destruction of Property, 10300 Block of BELMONT BLVD, 6/15/12. A vehicle tire was slashed.

Larceny, 9800 Block of GUNSTON RD, 6/15/12. An iPhone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
