CRIME SUMMARY

September 2-8, 2012

Larceny, 6900 Block of BRADLICK SHOPPING CTR, 9/3/12. A wallet was stolen from an unattended purse.

Drugs, 7200 Block of VELLEX LN, 9/4/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Destruction of Property, 7600 Block of DUNSTON ST, 9/5/12. An home and vehicle was shot with BB gun pellets.

Larceny, 5500 Block of CHEROKEE AVE, 9/5/12. Cash was stolen from a safe.

Larceny, 7000 Block of LEEWOOD FOREST DR, 9/6/12. A down spout was stolen from a home.

Larceny, 7100 Block of WOODLAND DR, 9/6/12. A mailbox was stolen for the fourth time.

Drugs, 4900 Block of BACKLICK RD, 9/7/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Destruction of Property, 7500 Block of LEESVILLE BLVD, 9/7/12. The left rear window of a vehicle was broken.

Larceny, 4800 Block of RANDOLPH DR, 9/8/12. A work van was broken into; tools were stolen.

Larceny, 7300 Block of FLOYD AVE, 9/2/12.A work van was broken into; tools were stolen.

Drugs, 7200 Block of COMMERCE ST, 9/3/12. Following a traffic violation, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Larceny, 6400 Block of SPRINGFIELD PLZ, 9/4/12. Shoplifting.

Larceny, 6100 Block of CUMBERLAND AVE, 9/5/12. Money orders were stolen from an office.

Larceny, 6100 Block of DINWIDDIE ST, 9/5/12. A vehicle was broken into and power tools were stolen.

Larceny, 6000 Block of GRAYSON ST, 9/6/12. A truck was broken into; tools were stolen.

Weapon Law Violation, BACKLICK RD / INDUSTRIAL RD, 9/6/12. A bottle was thrown through the back window of a vehicle.

Drugs, BACKLICK RD / HIGHLAND ST, 9/6/12. Following a traffic violation, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Larceny, 6100 Block of FOX HILL ST, 9/7/12. A work van was broken into; tools were stolen.

Destruction of Property, 5900 Block of LANGTON DR, 9/2/12. A home was egged.

Larceny, 3400 Block of ELMWOOD DR, 9/2/12. Items were stolen from a bedroom.

Burglary/Breaking & Entering, 6100 Block of SQUIRE LN, 9/2/12. A home was broken into; jewelry was stolen.

Drugs, METRO PARK DR / WALKER LN, 9/2/12. Following a traffic violation, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Fraud, FRONTIER DR RAMP TO RT7900 EB / RT7900 EB RAMP TO FRONTIER DR, 9/2/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual provided false identification.

Drugs, 6800 Block of DARBY LN, 9/2/12. Following a traffic violation, an individual was found to be in possession of drugs.

Fraud, 6700 Block of FRONTIER DR, 9/4/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual provided false identification.

Larceny, 6200 Block of FRANCONIA FOREST LN, 9/5/12. An iPod was stolen from a vehicle.

Motor Vehicle Theft, 6100 Block of WOODLAND STREAM DR, 9/5/12. A car, which had been left unlocked with keys in the console, had been stolen from a driveway.

Burglary/Breaking & Entering, 6200 Block of DUBIN DR, 9/5/12. A home was entered, possibly through an unlocked door. Cash and electronic items were stolen.

Larceny, 6200 Block of FRANCONIA FOREST LN, 9/6/12. Two unlocked vehicles were entered; cash and other items were stolen.

Larceny, 6600 Block of FLEET DR, 9/8/12. An iPhone was stolen from an office, where it had been charging in the wall outlet.

Larceny, 7600 Block of HAYFIELD RD, 9/3/12. A locked vehicle was broken into; CDs and other items were stolen.

Arson, 7800 Block of CINDER BED RD, 9/4/12. The interior of a vehicle was set on fire.

Destruction of Property, 5600 Block of FRANCONIA RD, 9/6/12. A sliding glass door was broken by a thrown rock.

Destruction of Property, 6500 Block of BIRCHLEIGH WAY, 9/6/12. Red paint was poured on the rear window and trunk of a vehicle.

Destruction of Property, 6600 Block of FROST LAKE LN, 9/7/12. A patio door was damaged in a possible  attempt to enter the residence.

Drugs, ALFORTH AVE / BEULAH ST, 9/7/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Burglary/Breaking & Entering, 7600 Block of FALLSWOOD WAY, 9/2/12. Individuals were home and reported seeing a man in their residence, who fled when they saw him.

Larceny, 9000 Block of HARROVER PL, 9/3/12.  An unlocked vehicle was entered and a wallet was stolen. 

Burglary/Breaking & Entering, 9000 Block of LORTON STATION BLVD, 9/5/12. The window of a business had been smashed out; a cash register was stolen.

Robbery, HAGEL CIR / RICHMOND HWY, 9/5/12. A website sale transaction in which an iPad and an iPhone were to be exchanged turned out to be a set-up for a robbery; the seller was robbed of both items by two individuals.

Burglary/Breaking & Entering, 7400 Block of LONE STAR RD, 9/6/12. A home was broken into; a laptop was stolen.

Destruction of Property, 7300 Block of ARDGLASS DR, 9/6/12. A vehicle was keyed.

Fraud, 9500 Block of SALUDA CT, 9/6/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual provided fraudulent identification.

Drugs, CHAUNCEY LN / RIVER DR, 9/6/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Larceny, 7700 Block of GUNSTON PLZ, 9/7/12. Two individuals were reportedly stealing fuel from a vehicle.
