CRIME SUMMARY

October 28-November 3, 2012

Larceny, 6900 Block of BRADDOCK RD, 10/28/12. Credit cards were stolen from an unattended purse.  Fraudulent charges were made against the victim’s account.

Drug Violation, 6900 Block of BRADLICK SHOPPING CTR, 10/30/12. An individual attempted to fill a fraudulent prescription.

Robbery, 4500 Block of LOGSDON DR, 10/30/12. Two male suspects assaulted a couple and a woman’s purse was stolen.

Burglary/Breaking & Entering, 4500 Block of LITTLE RIVER RUN DR, 10/31/12. An individual reported that someone had tried to gain entry into her home.

Destruction of Property, 4500 Block of BACKLICK RD, 11/1/12. The slide on a playground was damaged.

Larceny, 4500 Block of JOHN MARR DR, 11/1/12. A jacket was stolen from a doctor’s office.

Larceny, 7100 Block of CATLETT ST, 11/2/12. A plant was stolen from the front yard of a residence.

Destruction of Property, EDSALL RD / I395, 11/3/12. A rear-view mirror to a vehicle was damaged following an argument.

Destruction of Property, 5900 Block of GRAYSON ST, 10/28/12. An individual reported that it appeared that someone had attempted to gain entry into his home.

Destruction of Property, 7000 Block of BROOKFIELD PLZ, 10/28/12. A door lock to a rear entrance of a business and a spotlight were damaged.

Larceny, 7200 Block of CONSTANTINE AVE, 10/28/12. A chainsaw was stolen from a residential shed.

Drug Violation, 7200 Block of COMMERCE ST, 10/29/12. An individual was found to be in possession of cocaine.

Larceny, 6600 Block of BACKLICK RD, 10/31/12. A cell phone was stolen from a business.

Burglary, 7000 Block of SPRING GARDEN DR, 11/1/12. Cash was stolen from an unattended cash register.

Drug Violation, 6300 Block of SPRINGFIELD PLZ, 11/1/12. An individual was found to be in possession of drugs.

Larceny, 6500 Block of MILVA LN, 11/1/12. A vehicle was broken into and an iPod was stolen.

Larceny,6400 Block of SPRINGFIELD PLZ, 11/2/12.  A cell phone was stolen from an unattended purse.

Larceny, 7300 Block of LAMAR DR, 11/2/12. Several lawn tools and gas container can were stolen from a residential shed.

Drug Violation, AMHERST AVE / CALAMO ST, 11/3/12. Following a traffic violation, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Larceny, 6200 Block of BACKLICK RD, 11/3/12. Attempted shoplifting.

Drug Violation, BEULAH ST / FRANCONIA RD, 10/28/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be in possession of drugs.

Larceny,4900 Block of FRANCONIA RD, 10/28/12. Landscaping tools were stolen from a truck.

Larceny, 6100 Block of FRANCONIA RD, 10/29/12. A cell phone was stolen from an unattended purse at the victim’s place of work.

Destruction of Property, 7200 Block of LOISDALE RD, 10/30/12. Following a verbal altercation, an individual broke a cordless phone.

Drug Violation, 6300 Block of THOMAS DR, 10/30/12. During an arrest, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Destruction of Property, 6300 Block of MERIWETHER LN, 10/31/12. A residence was egged.

Destruction of Property, 6600 Block of PALAMINO ST, 10/31/12. A vehicle was egged.

Destruction of Property, 6200 Block of DUBIN DR, 10/31/12. A window to a residence was egged.

Drug Violation, 5800 Block of CLERMONT DR, 10/31/12. Following a traffic violation, an individual was found to be in possession of drugs.

Burglary/Breaking & Entering, 5800 Block of GOVERNORS HILL DR, 11/1/12. A home security system alarm alerted police to a break-in; the front door had been forced open. Nothing appeared to have been stolen from the residence.

Destruction of Property, 5900 Block of PEVERILL DR, 11/3/12. Cars were damaged by individuals that were fighting outside of a party.

Larceny, 5700 Block of LA VISTA DR, 11/3/12. A cell phone was stolen by someone known to the victim.

Destruction of Property, 5600 Block of FRANCONIA RD, 10/28/12. A tire to a vehicle was slashed by someone known to the victim.

Larceny, 6700 Block of SOUTH VAN DORN ST, 10/28/12. Shoplifting.

Larceny, 7100 Block of SILVER LAKE BLVD, 10/30/12. Attempted shoplifting.

Larceny, 5800 Block of KINGSTOWNE BLVD, 11/1/12. Attempted shoplifting.

Counterfeiting/Forgery, 5200 Block of FRANCONIA RD, 11/2/12. An individual attempted to cash a forged check.

Larceny, 6700 Block of HANSON LN, 11/2/12. A GPS system and spare change were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Drug Violation, MANCHESTER BLVD / MANCHESTER LAKES DR, 11/3/12. Following a traffic violation, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Drug Violation, FRANCONIA RD / SOUTH VAN DORN ST, 11/3/12. Following a traffic violation, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Destruction of Property, 9600 Block of EATON WOODS PL, 10/31/12. An individual reported that his vehicle and residence were egged.

Destruction of Property, 9600 Block of POTTERS HILL CIR, 11/2/12. The siding to a residence was damaged.

Fraud, 7800 Block of LEWIS CHAPEL CIR, 11/2/12. Fraudulent charges were made to an individual’s cable television account.

Weapon Law Violation, 8000 Block of LORTON RD, 11/2/12. Following a verbal altercation, a suspect pulled a handgun and pointed it at a gas station clerk.

Motor Vehicle Theft, 9700 Block of HAGEL CIR, 11/3/12. A vehicle was taken by a person known to the victim.
