Larceny, 7200 Block of LITTLE RIVER TPKE, 12/16/12. An individual attempted to exit a store without paying for merchandise.

Destruction of Property, HEMING AVE / INZER ST, 12/17/12. A U.S. Postal Service mailbox was damaged and it appeared that someone had attempted to pry open the doors.

Larceny, 4500 Block of EXETER ST, 12/17/12. An individual reported that his GPS unit was stolen from his vehicle, which had been left unlocked.

Larceny, 7100 Block of BRADDOCK RD, 12/17/12. An individual reported that her vehicle window was smashed in order to gain access to her purse, which was then stolen.

Destruction of Property, 56400 Block of GENERAL WASHINGTON DR, 12/18/12. A business owner reported that a former employee had placed 20 screws inside a piece of equipment, which severely damaged the product.

Extortion/Blackmail, 7000 Block of CINDY LN, 12/18/12. A teacher reported that one student had blackmailed another.

Larceny, 7000 Block of CINDY LN, 12/18/12. A student stole an item from a cafeteria.

Larceny, 7300 Block of JERVIS ST, 12/19/12. An individual reported that tools were stolen from his vehicle, which had been left unlocked.

Larceny, 7400 Block of BLACKFORD ST, 12/19/12. An individual reported that tools were stolen from his trailer.

Larceny, 7400 Block of BLACKFORD ST, 12/19/12. An individual reported that tools were stolen from his truck.

Larceny, 6300 Block of WALKING LN, 12/20/12. An individual reported that two tires were stolen from his vehicle, which had been left on cinder blocks.

Destruction of Property, 6500 Block of BRADDOCK RD, 12/22/12. A school’s sign was stolen and shattered on a main roadway.

Destruction of Property, 5500 Block of VINCENT GATE TER, 12/22/12. A glass door was reportedly shattered after an individual attempted to pry it open.

Fraud, 5500 Block of VINCENT GATE TER, 12/22/12. An individual reported that her purse had been stolen after she had left it unattended in a bathroom. The credit card had been fraudulent charged.

Motor Vehicle Theft, 5600 Block of BISMACH DR, 12/22/12. An individual reported that her vehicle was stolen from outside of her building.

Destruction of Property, 6500 Block of LEE VALLEY DR, 12/16/12. An individual reported that someone had thrown a rock through the window of his residence.

Destruction of Property, 7300 Block of GRACE ST, 12/17/12. An individual reported that someone had thrown an object at her front door, which caused the glass to shatter.

Drug Violation, 7400 Block of SPRING VILLAGE DR, 12/17/12. An individual attempted to refill a fraudulent prescription at a pharmacy.

Larceny, 7200 Block of COMMERCE ST, 12/17/12. Two individuals exited a bar without paying their tab.

Larceny, 5900 Block of FREDERICK ST, 12/18/12. An individual reported that someone had stolen a Nintendo Wii console from her vehicle, which had been left unlocked.

Larceny, 7300 Block of BYEFORDE CT, 12/18/12. An individual reported that cash, a laptop, and several other items were stolen from her vehicle.

Drug Violation, BACKLICK RD / ESSEX AVE, 12/19/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Larceny, 631000 Block of SPRINGFIELD PLZ, 12/20/12. A jewelry store was robbed of a tray of diamond rings by two individuals; one male and one female.

Larceny, 7400 Block of NANCEMOND ST, 12/21/12. An individual reported that money, jewelry, and keys were stolen from her home.

Drug Violation, COMMERCIAL DR / INDUSTRIAL RD, 12/22/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Destruction of Property, 6600 Block of STAGECOACH ST, 12/16.12. An individual reported that he had returned to his vehicle to find that it had been damaged.

Larceny, 6600 Block of SPRINGFIELD MALL, 12/16/12. An individual dropped her wallet and another female picked up the wallet and exited the store with it.

Larceny, 5800 Block of TILBURY RD, 12/17/12. An individual reported that scrap copper wire was stolen from the back of several company trucks.

Larceny, 6400 Block of SPRINGFIELD MALL, 12/17/12. An individual attempted to exit a store without paying for merchandise.

Burglary/Breaking & Entering, 5600 Block of BROOKLAND CT, 12/18/12. An individual returned home to find that his home had been burglarized; jewelry and numerous electronic items, including a laptop, had been stolen.

Larceny, 6400 Block of SPRINGFIELD MALL, 12/18/12. An individual attempted to exit a store without paying for merchandise.

Larceny, 6100 Block of PIONEER DR, 12/18/12. An individual reported that her bicycle had been stolen from a carport, where it had been left unsecured.

Larceny, 6500 Block of FRONTIER DR, 12/19/12. An individual exited a store without paying for merchandise.

Larceny, 6500 Block of FRONTIER DR, 12/19/12. An individual reported that her vehicle window had been smashed in an effort to gain access to her purse, which had been stolen.

Larceny, 5900 Block of LA VISTA DR, 12/19/12. An item was stolen from a delivered package.

Destruction of Property, 6100 Block of MCLENDON CT, 12/20/12. An individual reported that a vehicle had driven through her front yard and that her mailbox had been damaged.

Drug Violation, LOISDALE CT / LOISDALE RD, 12/21/12. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Larceny, 6700 Block of METROPOLITAN CENTER DR, 12/21/12. An individual reported that her child’s father had stolen her cell phone and damaged a door in her home.

Destruction of Property, 6400 Block of FRANCONIA CT, 12/22/12. An individual reported that someone had tried to obtain entry to his residence by popping the deadbolt.

Larceny, 6600 Block of FORSYTHIA ST, 12/22/12. An individual reported that his prescription pills had been stolen from his home.

Larceny, 6000 Block of HEATHERWOOD DR, 12/22/12. An individual returned to her vehicle to find that it had been ransacked.

Motor Vehicle Theft, 5600 Block of VINE ST, 12/22/12. A truck belonging to a company was stolen from company property.

Destruction of Property, 6200 Block of ABBOTTSBURY ROW, 12/17/12. An individual reported that she had seen several juveniles take lawn ornaments and smash them.

Destruction of Property, 6500 Block of COACHLEIGH WAY, 12/17/12. An individual reported that his vehicle had been keyed.

Larceny, 7000 Block of MANCHESTER BLVD, 12/17/12. An individual attempted to exit a store without paying for merchandise.

Larceny, BEULAH ST / CRESTLEIGH WAY, 12/17/12. An individual reported that his go-cart had been stolen after it had been left unattended.

Weapon Law Violation, 6600 Block of WINSTEAD MANOR CT, 12/17/12. An individual reported that his neighbor had approached him with a weapon and held the weapon to his back, which threatened him.

Drug Violation, 7300 Block of MALLORY CIR, 12/18/12. An individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Fraud, 7200 Block of WORSLEY WAY, 12/18/12. An individual reported that his credit card had been compromised for the second time in several months.

Larceny, 6700 Block of MOCKINGBIRD WOODS CT, 12/18/12. Cash was stolen from a vehicle, which had been left unlocked.

Larceny, 7600 Block of TELEGRAPH RD, 12/19/12. An individual reported that her daughter’s iPod had been stolen from her backpack on school property.

Larceny, 6600 Block of TELEGRAPH RD, 12/19/12. An individual reported that his wallet had been stolen from a gym, where it had been left unattended.

Larceny, 6000 Block of ESSEX HOUSE SQ, 12/20/12. An individual reported that several bags of wrapped presents were stolen from her vehicle.

Destruction of Property, 8200 Block of SHANNONS LANDING WAY, 12/21/12. An individual reported that her vehicle had been keyed.

Larceny, 5800 Block of KINGSTOWNE BLVD, 12/21/12. Several individuals attempted to exit a store without paying for merchandise.

Larceny, 7100 Block of LAKE COVE DR, 12/21/12. A GE crystal reindeer was stolen from a front yard.

Larceny, 9400 Block of LORTON MARKET ST, 12/16/12. An individual attempted to exit a business without paying for merchandise.

Larceny, 9400 Block of LORTON MARKET ST, 12/17/12. An individual reported that her cell phone had been stolen from her hand; phone was recovered after another individual tackled the suspect.

Larceny, 10200 Block of GUNSTON RD, 12/17/12. An individual reported that her prescription medication had been stolen by an acquaintance.

Larceny, 8900 Block of LORTON STATION BLVD, 12/17/12. An individual reported that his prescription medication and television were stolen from his vehicle.

Burglary/Breaking & Entering, 7900 Block of GUNSTON WOODS PL, 12/18/12. An individual returned home to find that someone was in her residence.

Larceny, 7800 Block of DOGUE INDIAN CIR, 12/19/12. An individual returned to his vehicle to find that it had been ransacked; individual was unsure as to whether or not the vehicle had been locked.

Larceny, 9700 Block of PLASKETT FOREST LN, 12/20/12. An individual returned to his vehicle to find that it had been ransacked; individual was unsure as to whether or not the vehicle had been locked.
