Providence Senior Tax Relief Workshop
Announcement

Mr. Chairman:

I am pleased to announce that my office will be hosting senior tax relief workshops for the third year in a row. The workshops are scheduled for the following dates and times:

March 15, 2006 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. &
April 5, 2006 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Both workshops will be held at my office located at 8739 Lee Highway, Fairfax, Virginia 22031. Residents are welcome to call my office to make an appointment for this event by calling (703) 560-6946; TTY 711. Furthermore, I ask that the Office of Public Affairs publicize the workshop events as soon as possible.

Moreover, Mr. Chairman, in these three years, there has been two familiar staff members who have continued to make the Providence Senior Tax Relief workshops accessible and productive to residents.

Although, I don't want to take them away from the important work that they do, I would appreciate the Board's unanimous support in inviting Desi Baltimore and Paula Loures, of the Department of Tax Administration before the Board to receive Certificates of Recognition in the service of assisting and educating our seniors in matters of tax relief, at an appropriate date.
