Message From Supervisor Smyth

Welcome to the Providence District Web site. We are pleased to provide this site as a service to the residents of the Providence District. I hope you will visit often and find it a useful source of information about our community and upcoming activities and issues affecting us.

Please check the site for periodic updates of public meetings, upcoming events in our parks and schools and other timely information. You will also find links to other useful sites, such as those pertaining to ongoing transportation studies in and around our district. This site also gives us an additional way to communicate. I welcome your input and invite you to share with me your ideas or concerns.

If you have a problem that you feel your local government may be able to assist with, I hope you will let me know. My role is to be your advocate with government agencies that are working to provide services to more than one million residents. I hope you will give me the opportunity to see that you are well served.
Positive feedback about experiences you have had in Providence District or around the County is also very much appreciated. If members of the County staff have gone out of their way to assist you, please give me the opportunity to make sure they are commended.
