Weekly Agenda

Mr. Chairman,

In this day of digital divide, the staff continuously strives to close that gap in its communication services to county residents. However, as the numerous technology advancement awards will attest, the county has progressed at a faster rate than the collective efforts of county residents, specifically in terms of communication via the use of internet. Due to these adjustments, The Weekly Agenda, a key communication material, is no longer being produced and disseminated to county residents. It provided residents with important public meeting schedules and other pertinent pieces of information. The Weekly Agenda was eliminated due to the lack of funding for staff, printing and distribution services.

Motion:

Therefore, I direct staff to look at all aspects of resuming The Weekly Agenda as an important communication material in service to county residents.
