The Department of Community and Recreation Services is responsible for allocating Fairfax County Public School (FCPS) gymnasiums and fields and Fairfax County Park Authority (FCPA) designated athletic fields for community athletic use. To apply for a facility use permit, download, complete, and submit the appropriate application below. Gym and athletic field applications will be accepted and processed in accordance with the Field Allocation Policy and the Gym Allocation Policy. The following activities must be scheduled directly through either FCPA or FCPS:
- Sports Camps
- Sports Clinics
- Workshops
- Classes
- Day Camps
- Activities Other Than Athletics
The sale of food of any type, beverages (alcohol is prohibited), merchandise, etc. must be coordinated through FCPA or FCPS. Food sales also may require a food establishment permit from the Fairfax County Health Department.
