Program

In order to help community groups reduce the cost of using gyms for athletics, Athletic Services operates a volunteer building director program. (Groups that do not provide volunteer building directors during gym use are required to use CRS-provided building directors at a cost of $12.12 per hour.) This program trains designated community group representatives to serve as CRS on-site personnel during the group’s gym use time. Volunteers are trained using a video that is available on line or in all Fairfax County Public Libraries. After viewing the VIDEO , the volunteer completes and submits a test. Volunteers who pass the test become certified volunteer building directors. For further information contact 703-324-5522, TTY 711.
