Who Can Be a Member?
You can be a member if you are between 8 and 18 years of age and a resident of Fairfax County.

Members

The clubhouses are open to youth from ages 8 to 18 years of age. Some special activities are offered for youngsters less than 8 years of age. The clubhouses require youth and parents to complete a membership registration. All services are free to clubhouse members. Registration and a monthly activity calendar are available at each computer clubhouse registration desk.

Mentors & Tech Friends

A mentor provides friendship and support of one to three youth to help them develop positive peer networks, social skills, and positive character traits.

A tech friend provides group and individual computer learning and project assistance. Tech friends also lead specific club activities such as music video and vocational skills clubs.

Bailey's Community Center, Gum Springs Community Center and Willston Multicultural Center Computer Clubhouses are members of the Computer Clubhouse Network, a project of M.I.T. with the Boston Museum of Science through partnership with Intel.

Directions: From 495 -- take Exit 1 to Route 1 South (Fort Belvoir) exit. Continue on Route 1 (approximately 4 miles) to a left on Fordson Road (opposite of South Valley Mall). Go to the end of Fordson Road. Take a right into parking lot.

Directions in the Annandale Area - At 495 & 50, travel 50E toward Arlington. Pass intersection of Graham Road & 50 (Loehmann's Plaza) to next major intersection which is Annandale Road. Turn Left and go about 1/2 mile. James Lee is on the Right.

From 495 & Braddock Road -Braddock Rd East toward Arlington. Left on Ravensworth to intersection of Ravensworth & 50, cross over 50 & Ravensworth becomes Annandale Road. Travel Annandale Road for 1/2 mi. James Lee is on the Right at School Lane. Watch for signs.

From Intersection of Backlick Road & Braddock -Take Backlick North towards Annandale. At Rt. 50, turn Left, travel to Annandale Road and turn Right at School Lane. Watch for signs.

From Intersection of Little River Turnpike (Hwy 236 & 495) -Take 495 North and exit at 50E toward Arlington. Travel 50 East past Graham Road to next large intersection which is Annandale Road. Turn left. Travel 1/2 miles and turn Right into James Lee at School Lane.

Directions: From Route 66-take 66 West towards Front Royal. Take Fairfax County Parkway exit towards Springfield (7100 South). Exit at Braddock Road. Make a left at the light, staying right. Make a right at next light into our parking lot.

From 495 - take 495 North towards Rockville coming from Tysons or take 495 South towards Springfield coming from Alexandria. Take Braddock Road West exit towards George Mason University. Go through Ox Road (past George Mason) and Shirley Gate Road lights. Make a left at the next light into our parking lot.
