About the Senior Center Without Walls
The Senior Center Without Walls project is a public-private partnership between the residents, businesses, and places of worship in the Burke, Fairfax Station, West Springfield, and surrounding communities, and the Fairfax County government. The Senior Center Without Walls was created to provide a variety of programs, activities and services, and opportunities for older adults living in these targeted areas. The Fairfax County Department of Community and Recreation Services in collaboration with other Fairfax County human service agencies, and key community project coordinators are overseeing and working to expand the network of community based organizations, businesses and individuals committed to sharing and developing resources to provide opportunities for older adults in these targeted areas.
WHAT: Line Dance Classes
WHO: Fairfax County residents 55 years of age or older, residing in the Burke, Fairfax Station, West Springfield and surrounding communities.
WHEN: Friday, October 2, 2009 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. for eight-sessions.
WHERE: Durga Temple, 8400 Durga Place,
Fairfax Station, VA.

WHAT: Tai-chi Classes
WHO: Fairfax County residents 55 years of age or older, residing in the Burke, Fairfax Station, West Springfield and surrounding communities.
WHEN: Friday, October 2, 2009 from 12:15
to 1:15 p.m. for eight sessions.
