Wellness Program for Service Members
Operation WOW!, which stands for Wellness Opportunities for Warriors, has recently been launched by CRS. Operation WOW! is for military service members injured during the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan who are interested in participating in physical and wellness activities in a community setting. This is a free service men and women who have been injured in the line of duty.
Operation WOW! provides a voucher to service members that can be used to enroll in a Fairfax County Park Authority class that focuses on physical fitness, or the voucher can be applied towards the registration fee to participate in an adult athletic team sports program in the county.
