Thanksgiving Holiday Notice
All Fairfax County Department of Community & Recreation Services centers, programs and facilities, including Fastran services, will be closed on Thursday, November 26, 2009 and Friday, November 27, 2009 for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
JOIN THE FUN!
Teenage years are a pivotal time in every child's life, and it's important that teens are given the opportunity to identify and explore individual strengths and develop unique interests. Joining a county sponsored teen program allows teens to grow in a supervised, structured, and enjoyable environment with trained staff and other teens. County staff provides positive role models for teens and they provide teens with the skills necessary to make good decisions, improve personal resiliency and to have fun. Whether you need a safe place for your teen to go after school, to develop some positive friendships and to learn some new skills, Teen Services has a program for you. Registration is the first step towards participation in Teen Services programs. Membership at the teen centers and most programs is free. Teen Services creates a newsletter quarterly that touches on the highlights of activities or programs at the centers.
