TextBridging Affordability RFP Released
Fairfax County has released the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the 2012-2013 “Bridging Affordability” Program. The optional pre-proposal conference will be held on September 5, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Conference Room 9/10, Fairfax, Virginia 22035. All offerors are urged to attend. All questions pertaining to this RFP should be submitted in writing to the contract administrator at dpsmteam3@fairfaxcounty.gov. Proposals are due on October 24, 2012 at 2 pm.
About the Bridging Affordability Program: Bridging Affordability is an integral component of the FY 2012 and FY 2013 Housing Blueprint. The program is designed to provide funding to non-profits, via a competitive process, for use as rental subsidies and capital for the acquisition of additional affordable units to address the homelessness and waiting list goals of the Blueprint. Of the approximately $7.5 million available in FY 2012 and FY 2013 funds, up to $7 million is available for rental subsidies and/or capital acquisition and up to $500,000 is available to fund supportive services in rental subsidy projects.
